Lost Tomb Description

Lost Tomb transports players to the mysterious depths of an ancient pyramid. Although its precise location remains uncertain (the box covers of the home versions suggest Egypt, but in-game, it is described as being deep within the Amazon), your goal is to escape by navigating through various chambers. As you progress, you'll uncover valuable treasures, avoid treacherous traps, and confront a range of adversaries, including scorpions, spiders, mummies, and colossal bats.

Just like any intrepid explorer or treasure hunter worth their salt, you come prepared with a trusty gun and a whip. The whip is particularly handy as it can clear obstacles in your immediate vicinity, such as enemies, traps, and even walls. However, it's important to note that whips are limited in quantity (though you can replenish your stock along the way), while your gun can be reloaded infinitely. Be wary, though, as the pyramid itself is not too fond of your presence. If you linger for too long or trigger a trap, the ground will shake, and the walls will unleash a barrage of projectiles!

Within each level of the pyramid, in addition to the treasure-filled chambers, you'll find a stairway leading deeper down. These stairways offer two different exits, and fortunately, you possess a map to help you chart your course. However, be on guard when encountering the rare and perilous throne rooms, which are brimming with traps.
