Journey Description
Join Journey's band members on their quest to find their instruments and deliver an unforgettable concert. Each member, with a digitized head and animated body, rides the scarab vehicle, their band logo, and embarks on mini-games on five selectable planets to retrieve their instruments.
Steve Perry starts at the top, skillfully navigating swinging turnstiles to reach his microphone at the bottom. Neal Schon, equipped with a jetpack, maneuvers through a complex cavern system to retrieve his guitar, facing the challenge of shooting rockets as he ascends. Steve Smith jumps on moving drums to turn them blue, takes control of his drum set, and shoots symbols moving upward. Jonathan Cain descends slanted platforms, avoiding raised moving keys, before shooting blobs with his piano. Ross Valory leaps from rising blocks, defending against turrets while descending, and shoots down regenerated blocks.
Once all challenges are conquered, the band performs "Separate Ways" in a thrilling bonus stage. As Herbie Herbert, their tour manager, you block entrance doors to prevent fans from rushing in. Replay the mini-games faster and more challenging, aiming for a higher score while protecting the band's instruments.
