Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is the third game in the Sonic series. It's a side-scrolling platformer focusing on speed, just like the previous games. The basic gameplay remains the same: players collect rings to win additional lives, which are also utilized for protection, and disperse them all over the place when Sonic is injured.
