JRR Tolkien's War in Middle Earth Description

J.R.R. Tolkien's War in Middle Earth is a 16-bit adventure game with more adventure features than the 8-bit version that loosely depicts the events of the One Ring from the Shire to Mt. Doom. The game begins with the three hobbits, Frodo, Sam, and Pippin, surrounded by nine separate Nazgul units near the Shire. Despite the fact that the first task is to travel to Rivendell, the player has complete control over how heroes and armies progress. Victory is achieved by successfully delivering the ring bearer to Mt. Doom; how this is done is entirely up to the player.

Furthermore, any hero, including Frodo, can die in battle. If the ring bearer is killed in battle, a new ring bearer will be appointed to carry the One Ring (assuming they survive the encounter). If the enemy obtains the One Ring, they will attempt to reach Barad-dur, Sauron's fortress in the heart of Mordor, and thus defeat the player. If the enemy manages to seize three major allied citadels, the player will also lose. All you have to do to play J.R.R. Tolkien's War in Middle Earth on Classic Reload is click the Play game button.
