Tournament Arkanoid Description

Tournament Arkanoid was released by Taito in 1987. The player's paddle moves horizontally across the bottom of the screen, bouncing a ball upwards into a changeable field of 'bricks' in various mosaic designs. Bricks come in a variety of hues; some require multiple hits to be destroyed, while others are indestructible. Throughout gameplay, some of the bricks will drop power-ups like slowing down, catching, enlarging the paddle, or 'disrupt,' which will bounce three balls back toward the playing field. Other power-ups available include the laser, which allows you to shoot out bricks while still bouncing a ball, and the warp, which allows you to warp to the next level by passing through a small aperture.

There are two more power-ups available: the laser allows you to shoot out bricks and still bounce a ball, and the warp allows you to travel to the next level via a little aperture to the right of the paddle. When the next player is up, the screen turns to accommodate the player on the opposite end of the table. Enjoy a good time on Classic Reload by playing Tournament Arkanoid.
