Unlimited Adventures Description
Unlimited Adventures and Forgotten Realms: Unlimited Adventures, short FRUA, is a proprietary development system for creating computer RPGs . It was developed in 1993 by Micro Magic and Strategic Simulations (SSI) for DOS and Macintosh published and is an offshoot of the successful GoldBox series.
There are numerous fan sites that other levels , graphics and hacks provide. About 700 games were produced and published it. There are also other fan projects based on FRUA.
The gameplay is largely aligned to the GoldBox series and plays in the Forgotten Realms -world of Dungeons & Dragons (2nd Edition). The color range has been increased from 16 to 256 colors.
