ESPN Speed World Description

ESPN Speed World is a Genesis video game that involves the player controlling NASCAR-type car as they do laps around a circuit. The object of the game is to get as close to first place as possible. This game uses real ESPN announcers as they were in the mid 1990s. While the graphics were a little dated for their time period (like most licensed video games), the illusion of racing on cable TV is what makes licensed video games like this one popular. Like in most racing games, being in the top positions gives the player more points than being in the bottom positions.
