Jump Shot

Jump Shot, an arcade basketball game developed by Bally Midway in 1985, operated on Namco Pac-Man hardware. However, it arrived a year after the termination of their five-year partnership with the Japanese licensor, similar to Shoot the Bull. In this game, players assume control of two basketball players codenamed "HOME" (blue) and "AWAY" (red) using an 8-way joystick. Two buttons allow them to shoot the ball (when in possession) and block. If only one player participates, the CPU takes control of the second player. Like in real basketball, the player with the most points when the timer expires emerges as the winner, except in the case of a tie game.
